End-of-life vehicles
Identify the vehicle. Complete the record. Organize take-back.
An individual or a garage starts by declaring a vehicle. Behind that form, teams need reliable information, prepared documents and a request they can pass to the parties handling collection. Here are the functions we have developed to connect these steps.
- License plate / VIN
- B2B & B2C workflows
- Electronic signature
Project example: a vehicle take-back platform with individual and professional workflows connected to an existing management system.
Start with a plate or VIN, not an empty record.
Asking users to reenter a vehicle’s make, model and specifications adds fields to complete and corrections to handle later.
What the application does
- The declarant provides the country and available identifier: a license plate or VIN, the vehicle identification number.
- The application queries an identification service and populates the record with the returned specifications.
- The user is asked to complete required fields that remain empty. Manual entry is available when data cannot be retrieved.
The detail that matters
The identification method and required fields vary by country. The integration does not assume that every lookup returns a complete record.
What the team gets
A structured vehicle record with available specifications retrieved and missing information completed.
Move the administrative record forward with the request.
A take-back request is not ready to process simply because the vehicle has been identified. It also includes declarative information and documents.
What the application does
- The workflow brings together the information and documents needed to handle the request.
- The team finds these items in the vehicle record rather than in separate exchanges.
- Generation and electronic signing of transfer and destruction documents are integrated into the process for the relevant French operations.
The detail that matters
Document content and signature steps depend on the country and procedure. The project uses the applicable documents and defines the expected signatories.
What the team gets
The request, supporting documents and signature tracking are linked to the relevant vehicle.
Give the network a shared operational tool.
Owners, garages, end-of-life vehicle treatment centers and program teams act at different times with different responsibilities.
What the application does
- Separate workflows support individual and professional requests.
- Management interfaces let teams and partners follow vehicles and handling steps.
- Connections to the existing system exchange the information needed between declaration, collection and tracking through dismantling.
The detail that matters
The public portal and professional tool serve different uses. Screens and access rights need to reflect that separation.
What the team gets
Vehicle-level tracking and interfaces suited to the people declaring, handling and managing operations.
